Returns & Refund Policy – Tatham Engineering
At Tatham Engineering, we aim to ensure our customers are satisfied with their purchase. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may request a return subject to the conditions outlined below.

Return Period
Goods that prove unsuitable may be eligible for return within 14 days of receipt.
This policy does not affect your statutory rights.

Returns Process
As all products are supplied directly from our authorised suppliers, all returns must be approved by Tatham Engineering before being sent back.
Please contact us with your order details to request a return. We will provide instructions on how and where to return the item.
Items returned without prior approval may not be accepted.

Conditions for Returns
Returned items must meet the following conditions:
• Items must be returned carriage paid by the customer
• Items must be unused and in their original condition
• Items must be complete with all original packaging
• Items must be received in a fully resalable condition
If packaging is damaged or incomplete, a charge of up to 50% of the item value may be applied.

Product Compatibility
Due to the specialist nature of motorsport and performance components, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all parts are suitable and compatible with their vehicle or intended application before placing an order.
We strongly recommend confirming compatibility prior to purchase. Returns may not be accepted for items that have been incorrectly ordered or are not compatible.

Restocking Fees
Some returns may be subject to a restocking fee, depending on the supplier’s terms and the condition of the item.
This may apply even within the 14-day return period and is particularly relevant for certain electronic components and specialist parts supplied by manufacturers such as ECUmaster and Syvecs.

Returns After 14 Days
Returns requested after 14 days may be accepted at our discretion and are likely to be subject to restocking charges.

Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
• Special order items sourced specifically for a customer
• Custom manufactured or fabricated parts
• Custom wiring looms
• Software, firmware or device feature licences
• Electronic components that have been installed or powered
• Any item that has been modified, installed or used

Electronic Components
Due to the sensitive nature of motorsport electronics, ECUs and electronic components cannot be returned once they have been installed, powered, or opened unless confirmed to be faulty.

Turbochargers
Turbochargers must be inspected prior to installation.
Once installed, turbochargers cannot be returned unless confirmed faulty following manufacturer inspection, including products supplied by brands such as Pulsar Turbo Systems.

Faulty Products
If you believe a product is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible.
Products may need to be returned for inspection and may also require assessment by the manufacturer before a replacement or refund is approved.
Tatham Engineering is not responsible for any labour costs incurred during installation or removal of allegedly faulty or incorrectly supplied parts.

Responsibility for Returned Items
Customers are responsible for ensuring returned goods are packaged securely.
We cannot accept responsibility for returned parcels that are lost or undelivered. Customers are advised to retain proof of postage or courier tracking information.

Refunds
Refunds will be processed once returned goods have been received and inspected, and once any supplier assessments have been completed where applicable.
Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method where possible.
