Tatham Engineering provides complete engine and chassis harness design and manufacture for motorsport and high-performance vehicle builds. Designed and manufactured in-house, every harness is tailored to the specific requirements of the vehicle and its intended use. We develop complete electrical systems that integrate engine management, power distribution, CAN bus communications, digital dashboards, data logging, sensors, switchgear and auxiliary vehicle functions into a cohesive and dependable package.

Drawing on more than 20 years of engineering experience, alongside expertise gained through Williams F1, Millbrook Proving Ground and MAHLE Powertrain, we take a structured approach to harness design. Careful consideration is given to circuit design, connector selection, environmental protection, serviceability, weight reduction and long-term durability to ensure every system performs reliably under real-world operating conditions.

Our engine and chassis harnesses are commonly used in track, drift, drag and endurance racing applications, as well as high-performance road vehicles. We regularly support projects involving Nissan Skylines, Silvias, 350Zs, Cosworth-powered vehicles, BMWs, Mitsubishi Evos, Hondas, Toyotas and Mustangs, as well as bespoke competition builds requiring fully customised electrical systems.

Many of the vehicles we support compete in Time Attack, endurance racing, 750 Motor Club championships, British Drift Championship events, the TT Championship and drag racing series including Street Eliminator, where electrical reliability is critical to both performance and safety.
