Ecumaster Training Emu Black – Huntingdon 24th November 2023

We will be discussing Ecumaster’s Black software features and how to set up the ECU and some strategies.

We will try to cover the following subjects
– wirings, what to look at, where to be extra careful, and how to test the wiring loom.
– ECU first connection and software layout
– quick check what to look at.
– setting up a base map from scratch trigger setting coils injectors
– setting up DBW
-setting up idle control
– mapping, working with log and autotune
-setting up acceleration enrichment
– troubleshooting
-setting up traction control
-Explaining words like PID and CAN BUS
– Can bus ID’s to avoid

We will not be covering how to determine the correct ignition angle and set the correct AFR (lambda) – these are dependent on tuner preferences.
